My family is a rather large one, concisting of dogs, cats, tarantulas, fish, birds, ferrets, gerbils, hamsters, rats, and even an occasional chimpanzee (true story).
No matter where I was in my life, I've always had the companionship of a dog and a cat at the very least, and so, when I moved out, I added to my own household! Theodore, Billy Bob, Dante, and Maribel!

SouthSideSitter is a small pet service company started by me, Cecilia.
Ever since I was little I've always had pets around me. All breeds, all sizes, all kinds, all abilities. Because of this, I was blessed with the privilage to have wonderful exposure to many kinds of animals over the years, and have even had the wonderful experience of being side by side with a full grown male lion.
When I graduated from highschool, I made my way into college and quickly realized that, while it could further my chance at a successful and wealthy career, it wasn't my calling.
For a few months I left to find myself, traveled, couch surfed, tried many things, and through it all my dog was by my side. One day I woke up, looked into his bright, waiting eyes, and realized that this is exactly where I wanted to be.
Ever since then I've extended and continued to spread my love of animals through pet sitting and dog walking!

Pet Sitting/Care |
Exotic pet care
When I pet sit, a typical set up is two half hour visits about 12 hours apart every day, unless otherwise specified by the pet parent. More visits may be added for an additional fee.
Exotic care:
Consists of, fresh food and water, medication, play time, doody duty, and treats! Since exotics may require additional special care, I will always ask specifics about each kind before caring for them.
Bird care

Cat care

Cat care:
Consists of cuddle time, fresh food and water, medication, brushing, play time, litter duty, and cat nip!
Average rate: $ 15.00
Dog walks & hikes
Dog walks are group walks. There is a maximum of three dogs per walk, and my own may tag along as well. Theodore is the 'introducer' dog. After I meet with a client and their dog, I'll often request a second meeting with my dog on mutual grounds. That way we can see if the client's dog will get along with mine, and use him as a 'familiar' when bringing a new dog into a group.

Dog boarding
And boarding I do is a rate of $30 a day, which includes over night stays, lots of play time, walking, brushing, bathing, food, water, and medication, and constant, personalized care throughout the day.
I'm always up to striking a deal with people though, since I know it can become so very expensive. The longer you are gone, the more likely I am to strike up a deal.
